I had kind of hoped for a mode that resembled the original premise of Mario Party - screwing over other players to collect the most coins and stars. Estimated play times are also shown, which I found helpful but somewhat unreliable.

For example, the Rocket Road game is rated at two skill, four minigame, and five luck because it’s basically a game where you roll a die to get to the end of a line, but also contains many tiles that make you switch places with opponents (i.e., lots of luck involved). Each party mode is rated in three different categories: Skill, Luck, and Minigames.

Party mode focuses on the core of the Mario Party series - characters progress on a game board with the goal of either getting to the end first or collecting the most mini-stars. I am using Citra built from source a day ago on Ubuntu 20.04.Mario Party: Island Tour presents a variety of game modes: eight main party modes, three minigame modes, and StreetPass minigames. For the other 2 games, pressing end while his name flashes does absolutely nothing.

The same issue occurs on Mario Party: Star Rush and Mario Kart 7, although in Mario Kart 7, if I press Start when his name is flashing, it goes to a loading menu and gets stuck (while my cousin's end still says No software found). The issue in hand can be seen in this video. I have dumped System Archives, the "title" folder from my NAND, my config savegame, enabled DLP LLE via "View > Debugging > Toggle LLE Modules" (and so has my cousin). However, when I tried to use Download Play LLE it does not work: for me my cousin's username will keep flashing and then disappear while for him "No software found" will appear on the Download Play app. for Nintendo 3DS and Mario Party: The Top 100. I have been able to get Local Multiplayer to work for games like Super Smash Bros.

To be able to connect to the same room in Citra, we use a VLAN software (Hamachi). I am trying to play Mario Party: Island Tour with my cousin using Download Play LLE.
